VivaVoce: digitization projects
logo: VivaVoce The Centre VivaVoce, active in the field of recovery, restoration and enhancement of sound recordings, has taken on charges for:
- the recovery of the collection of images obtained thanks to the digitization of manuscripts and reproductions of Dante Alighieri' works that are preserved at the Società Dantesca Italiana
- the digitization of the collection of audio tapes of the Istituto Storico della Resistenza in Toscana' Sound Archive. More

Sound Archives: preservation, digitization and restoration
logo: course-sound archives Developed in collaboration with MartLab-VivaVoce, the course exposes, in a popular and at the same time technically rigorous way, the problems and potential solutions for the preservation and enhancement of audio-visual, thanks to the use of information technology.
The target of the course are the professionals responsible for the maintenance and the management of sound archives. More

FRD is a Partner of the European project PersID
logo: persid The Fondazione Rinascimento Digitale is a partner of the european project PersID. PersID aims to establish a persistent identifier infrastructure that unambiguously identifies and locates objects. The partners in PersID will establish local resolver services and a global resolver service for the resolution of URNs, to identify and locate a large variety of electronic resources. The first prototype of the service will be available next autumn. More
